Chocolate Recipe
A chocolate recipe to build a night around
Have a few friends gather at your pad, get out the well-worn shaker, and have yourself a real good time! This is a favorite chocolate recipe for us and we have had used it to tie quite a few on, as they say. It is a creative change to more traditional drinks that all your guests will already have tried many times over. It's probably more of a summer drink, but is also reminiscent of hot chocolate and that could provide an excuse for making them in the cold months of winter. We recommend sitting out on the veranda and sipping it real slow. Since the nature of martinis is strong, it's best not to chug this time- anyway that would be downright unsophisticated and as we all know, martinis are a sure sign of elegance and good breeding
Drink outside the box
Save your other chocolate recipe for another occasion because this party is going to be different. Your friends will be talking about it for years to come and pestering you for the recipe in hopes of emulating your bold creativity. Give out this chocolate recipe as you see fit, but remember that your best chance of getting invited to their shindig is to be the only one that knows how to make everyones favorite drink. We give it out only on account of our generous spirit, but were still reluctant to do so. We have been to too many dull get-togethers in the past and have found that this little chocolate recipe really has the ability to take things to a totally new level of excitement! Here goes, use it wisely:
- 1 shot chilled creme de cacao (The clear kind is preferably because it lends a much smoother taste)
- 1 shot chilled vodka
- 1 small piece of fine chocolate
If you so desire, you could use a little cocoa powder for dusting the rim of the glass, but we think that this can get a little too messy as it starts to get moist.
First you should use a chilled martini glass- pour both shakers into the martini shaker (if you do not have one, just throw them straight into the glass). Add some ice to the shaker and give the shaker a few good jolts, then strain the liquid into your glass. Add the final touch to this chocolate recipe- the piece of chocolate and enjoy!
